Malaga - Tangier
Our Moroccan adventure starts with a leisure ride through the beautiful ‘Costa del Sol’ highway out of Málaga to Tarifa, stopping to admire spectacular views of the Strait of Gibraltar. Once in Tarifa, we’ll board the ferry for the 90-minute crossing to mysterious Tangier, in times past home to shady merchants, spies, and smugglers. Tangier is now one of the most prosperous cities in the country due to its strategic and ideal geographic location for commercial maritime traffic between North Africa and Europe.
In the afternoon, we will ride leisurely to the outskirts of Tangier to our beautiful hotel overlooking the ocean and have a relaxing and excellent dinner. A good rest night will get us ready to start exploring Morocco tomorrow!

Tangier - Fes
Our journey continues inland as we make our way to Fes, the cultural capital of Morocco. We’ll avoid the highways and take the scenic route through the Rif Mountains, a completely different landscape on the road full of exciting curves.
Along the way, stops to enjoy cups of mint tea and meet the friendly locals. Once we arrive in Fes, we’ll probably still have enough free time to explore part of the city’s medina, a maze-like bazaar filled with shops, restaurants, and architectural gems.

Fes - Bin El Ouidane
After leaving Fes in the morning, our first stop will be Ifrane, also called the ‘Switzerland of Morocco’. Ifrane is known for its alpine-style architecture and nearby ski slopes and forests. Pressing on to the south, we’ll follow the roads that will take us through M’Rirt, Khenifra, and Tighassaline.
We are now in the High Atlas region, with mountains that rank amongst North Africa’s highest and offer some of Morocco’s most spectacular natural scenery. Snow-capped peaks, green valleys, and picturesque Berber settlements will make this another memorable ride. Our destination for the day is Bin El Ouidane, a picturesque lakeside town surrounded by towering cliffs.

Leaving Marrakech behind, we start our way back to the coast today. Our destination will be Rabat, Morocco’s vibrant capital. We’ll make our way north via Errafiaya and El Aamria, an area famous for its argan trees, which grow exclusively in Morocco and produce a valuable oil used in cooking and cosmetics.
