01
Rome
Our tour begins with the reception of tour participants at the hotel. In the evening, the group will get together for a welcome drink, dinner, and a little first surprise to warm us up for the days ahead: a three-hour night motorcycle ride around Rome!
It is said that all roads lead to Rome, and millions of people come to this vibrant city every year to marvel at its unique charm. Only a few do it by night and riding on two wheels. We leave for this fantastic evening ride right after dinner, and our route will have eight stops in major landmarks designed to tell us about the history of the city and appreciate all its beauty from a different point of view.

Rome - Orvieto
We start our tour heading North, in the direction of Lake Bracciano and a short stop for coffee and lake views at Trevignano Romano. Next comes Sutri, with a visit to its famous Etruscan-era amphitheater. Still riding North, we will have lunch in beautiful Viterbo and admire the craftily preserved medieval architecture.
In the afternoon, the road will take us along Lake Bolsena, and a final stop at Civita de Bagnoregio, a little hilltop village that will probably become one of the most photographed places on our trip. Accessed by a pedestrian bridge only, this charming village is quite the view, especially by the end of the day. Our first night on the road will be in another enchanting mountaintop walled town, Orvieto, for a typical dinner and a well-deserved rest in the old city.

Orvieto - Siena
Before leaving Orvieto, we will visit its imposing Cathedral, a masterpiece of Italian Gothic architecture of the late Middle Ages that preserves the frescoes of the Last Judgment by Luca Signorelli. We won't miss the chance to throw a lucky coin in the mystical St. Patrick's Well. We will then hit the road to zigzag along the Sienese hills, stopping at San Casciano dei Bagni, the spa town of the Grand Duke of Tuscany.
Lunch will be in the cozy town of Montepulciano, famous all over the world for its fantastic Nobile wine. We will then stop in Pienza, another superb example of Renaissance architecture, before arriving in Siena, one of Tuscany's most celebrated jewels. Before and after dinner, we will spend a couple of hours getting to know a little bit about this architectural masterpiece and experience the magical charm of its old buildings, squares, and towers.

Siena - Florence
On the road to Florence for another overnight stop, we will have a brilliant day discovering the pleasure of getting lost in 'Chiantishire', the classic Chianti wine route. We will ride without haste through small villages whose daily lives revolve around the production of this most famous of all excellent Italian wines.
Gaiole and Radda in Chianti will be the first of the enchanting towns on today's route. Next comes an unforgettable ride on SR429, a motorcyclist's dream road that will take us to Poggibonsi. Before stopping for lunch in the charming mountaintop town of Volterra, a short visit to San Gimignano is in order. In the afternoon, we will ride along the Arno river on our way to Florence.

Florence
Our bikes will remain safely parked today as we explore Florence, the Pearl of the Renaissance! We will have an entire day to get to know or revisit wonders such as the Uffizi Gallery, the church of Santa Maria Novella, the Duomo, and the Piazza della Signoria. We will also experience the evocative view of Ponte Vecchio and admire the David di Donatello in all its majesty. In the evening, get ready to be treated to the best of the excellent local dishes, paired with quality wines and liquors.
If you want to spend this extra day riding instead, we’ve got your back: as an option, you can do a day-long loop to explore the region north of Florence, getting to know Mugello and Scarperia, before making your way back to Florence and still having time to enjoy some late afternoon views from the river.

Florence - Pitigliano
Another relaxing day on the road is waiting for us. Our destination is the quaint old town of Pitigliano, a marvel of South Tuscany, which will prove to be one of our journey highlights. This most unusual city is situated atop a large tufa rock and has its origins in the Etruscan era. It is also home to 'Little Jerusalem', as Pitigliano used to be home to a flourishing Jewish community for several hundred years.

After lunch, it will be time to ride South via Viterbo, and then cover the final stretch of road to Rome, where a celebratory dinner will mark the end of our incredible journey around Tuscany.
